but its more than that. along with class every day comes the longing
for walks and talks of last semester. the drab hallways of my overgrown
highschool bring me down and i keep thinking of the streets of Budapest or the paths of Santorini.

One of my professors is using Great Decisions 2004. i was laughing
so hard in the bookstore people were staring. The fight to make
sure that last semesters credits transfer properly has begun and
the Dean of my school and I square off this week, wish me luck. She's a heavyweight.

For next semester I'm applying to programs in China for language
study, Mandarin. There were visiting professors from Dali University
in China at my school last week, Dali is in the south of China near
India, Tibet, Nepal, and Burma/Myanmar. I'll maybe end up there
or in Beijing at Be'da University. But for sure I'll send postcards.

Sarah, I'm doing alt spring break in either Oaxaca, Mexico
or Asheville, North Carolina, should be fantastic.

Carrie, are you coming out to NYC for your break?

I've been cooking up a storm recently, pizza from scratch,
biscuits, pancakes, soaking beans, hummus, carrot cake, vegan chipwhiches,
and other fancy shmancy delights. And finally being able to attend yoga lessons on a regular
basis, albeit with different instructors and styles, is so ideal.
Brittany, I can now definately touch my head to my butt. Ive been
offered a job as a supervisor at a juice bar. Supervisor? Me? In
a position of authority? ugh, I sell my ideals to the machine for money to travel.

Its funny, looking back on the beginning of college, 3 years
ago, and now thinking what the hell? where has time gone? it sad
outgrowing where you are and knowing its time to move on.

some kid in my town beat another kid with a maglite the other
day in the parking lot of burger king. you hear this shit from your
younger brother's mouth and its like: where am i? what world am i living in?

the moon was full three days ago, now she wanes and i with her.

be well kids.
